This Is Transformational Work.
But Don’t Just Take Our Word For It…
Susie berg, Toronto
I experienced a moment of deep clarity when Saira and Regina were in my backyard for Race2Dinner. Saira noted the difference between making friends and finding community. I felt heard and valued within a community that, like me, wants to dismantle the White supremacist structures that are killing all of us, and our planet. Their work continues to demonstrate to me how to work in community, challenge myself and my role in the system, and speak up with the voice and power that I have. I have nothing to lose that we are not all already losing anyway.
Rebecca Mercer, denver
"Race2Community has given me freedom from unlearning the exhausting work of whiteness in community and sisterhood with others. Race2Community has given me a new White identity where I am able to show up as my true authentic self, live unapologetically and lead with my values- without the fear of judgement from others that I am not being " nice".
Kathy Duda, Denver
"I'm so grateful to Regina and Saira for launching Race2Dinner. Their work effectively changed the course of my anti-racism journey. The Race2Dinner that I hosted catapulted me from a comfortable space - years of focused listening and learning - to the more uncomfortable, consequential, and necessary space of actually doing anti-racism work. They helped me and my guests see that perfection was unattainable in anti-racism work and that striving for perfection was ensnaring me in the silence, which is racism's best accomplice."
